My v4Sa has a cfcard inside. Inhave downloaded coffin and also the latest aros images. I can expand these onto sdcard. How do I get them on to my cf card? Or should I just buy an ide to sdcard adapter and use that instead?

Cheers

Hi Peter,

Yes of course.
CF is optimal to be used in Amiga.

This depends on what you like to do.
If you just want to run ApolloOS or only Coffin, then the easiest and simplest approach is to use CF reader and write the image complete to your CF.

If you like to switch around between various OS, then you need to use a bigger CF and install several OS in parallel using the Vampire Boot Loader.

My cf card is 128gb. When I used hdtoolbox, it reports dh0 is 500mb and dh1 is 13.8gb

However when I go to add entry it shows all the space as unselected used (dark green) there is no empty space to create more partitions?

Also. When I insert the SD card hdtoolbox identifies 3 partitions under sagasd.device -> Vampire SAGA-SD , however they do not show up on the desktop. All I have is SD0:NDOS
What do I have to do to make them visible? I tried following this page but I don't think any of these apply fully?

Ok. I fixed the cf card size by using the fixhddsize utility.

So now I can create more partitions to install coffin. But I still can't read the sd card?

I just broke my cf hard disk by formatting the new partition and the vampire hung. I have ordered a cf USB adapter so I can flash my own card again. Woops!
