| I haven't tried with AmigaSYS but I have done a lot of work manually installing Amiga OS on V4SA myself and learnt a lot in the process. If you install the version that comes with Amiga Forever, I would expect that it pretty much works out-of-the-box. Just install the SAGA drivers and ensure that you are using a new core (release 4 or above) or you won't get the high res modes. You might have to enable the highest res mode in Picasso96Mode. Also, make sure to use the updated A1200 ROM called amiga-os-3x0-a1200.rom. Note the "3x0" in the name. If you use the original amiga-os-310-a1200.rom you'll have problems. The updated one contains various patches, including most importantly 64 bit support. If you don't have Amiga Forever then do yourself a favour and buy a copy, and use the Workbench installs from that. Those old 3.1 disks you have from your old A1200 in the 1990s can be used but you'll be in for a whole lot of trouble! As I learnt with my V4SA, a "modern" 3.1 as delivered with Amiga Forever is not the same as the original 3.1 from Commodore! Feel free to ping me if you need help. I should really document my findings on a blog for other people who don't want to go the ApolloOS/Coffin route.
