I got very excited to see this.. I always loved AMOS and look forward to doing stuff with this when its out. (and we finally get core3 )

As someone who has just learned basic and a bit of pascal, I have to say I loved AMOS back in the day.
  Always missed it never supported AGA.
 
  I see Scortched Tanks, Jetstrike, Flight of the Amazon Queen and Valhalla series are all made in AMOS

Is there a source out there for PDFs or books that can be used to learn AMOS?

As AMOS can be extended with plugins/extensions, I presume (in theory) it would be possible to create an extension module that has vampire optimized/specific features that could be used in AMOS programs?
