For Amiga 68k 32GB is more than enough. You will have everything worth to have for Amiga 68k with that kind of space.

Stop thinking in the 1990's. We need this space for movies, mp3, pictures and new games like Diablo.

    I toght you streamed that stuff today and Vampire is not up to HD video. There are also stuff like servers and you can even have storage space in the sky ;) Kind of smart for your media collection, pictures. How much storage space do you have on your phone? Lot's of internal storage space are not needed anymore unless you play recent games. How much is Diablo? 500MB?

We Are caught in between. On my a1200hd setup, 800mb was huge HDD.

Fact Is, riva plays old MPEG, not even DivX. Krave alone post DVD hq like 720p and blue Ray quality.

So, 32gb Is enough, but some 32gb cards have lower format space, so its wise to have 64gb one.

Files in the sky? Cloud Is Aldo server that Can Die, and se Had it with FTP Long time ago

I prefer my own dvd-dl 8gb slow burned backups.

You Can trust mega, apple, Google if you disire.

Here are the results from SysInfo - Drive Speed - for the 120 GB M.2 on IDE Adapter:
  vcontrol id 0 = 3.276800 Bytes/Sec --> (FastIDE disabled)
  vcontrol id 1 = 6.499438 Bytes/Sec --> (Fast)
  vcontrol id 2 = 8.024816 Bytes/Sec --> (Faster)
  vcontrol id 3 = Graphical glitches, Freezes, Guru, Reboot

  Sometimes vcontrol id 2 seems also be too fast and the A500+ crashed.
  But i am happy with "Fast" :-)

  It is round about the same speed as via USB Stick on the Deneb USB card in my Amiga 4k.

That speed vcontrol id 1 = 6.499438 Bytes/Sec --> (Fast) you have there is exactly the same speed I have with my mechanical HDD with fastIDE disabled. I have converted 800 x 600 mpeg movie and it struggles on my CF and it struggles on my DVD reader. When I moved that movie to the mechanical HDD it played smoothly on an 800 x 600 resolution
So the quality of the movie no longer have pixilation or boxes on them

Yes, an Amiga with M.2/SSD is not faster as an Amiga with a "normal" mechanical HDD.
Every HD can run much faster as any Amiga Controller.

So there is no difference, exept for noise and power consumption.

Btw. it looks like the exact speed values would be repeated in SysInfo.
I had already noticed that different hard disks with the same vcontrol values always displayed the same value in SysInfo.

There is significant aces speed in listing/reading/writing a lot of small files, main reason why I want SATA2IDE converter and real full SSD on Standalone.
