hi. im trying to get coffin os to display a screen size of 1280x720p for my 16:9 monitor. i had no trouble doing this on my os3.9 install.
in coffin i get a perfectly sharp image when in 1280x800 16:10 but it has boarders either side. 720p is blurry for some reason.

Does anyone know whats happening?
thanks
Tony

Sounds like the sceen scaler kicks in.
What is the native resolution of the screen?

Try a 960*540 res.

You may try tweaking the resolution in P96Mode. As you had no problems with your OS3.9 install, you should use the same settings for this resolution in coffin aswell. My best guess: rise the refresh rate beyond 60 Hz.
Some computer displays switch to "TV mode" with certain tv-like resolutions. Borders get cut off and a sharpness/de-interlace filter messes with the image (anti-aliasing and auras around text).

that's weird, the docks should snap to the bottom border automatically with any resolution.
Did you try rebooting your Amiga?
Imagine a tech support voice with a bad accent when reading that question ;)
The dock settings can be found under Prefs/ToolsManager.
