As far as I'm aware one is not currently being worked on but I'm sure it will come at some point but is likely further down the pecking order compared to other Amiga models.

In the meantime you can get either a Whicher CD32 which is a basic RAM card with IDE and a clockport or a CD32 Terrible Fire TF330 which has a 68030 clocked at 50Mhz, 64MB RAM and IDE but no clockport.  Both are very reasonably priced and cost about the same so it's down to whether having a clockport or 68030 is more important to you.

It is prety pointless compared to standalone. Ask yourself: what will be better: Cd32 for few users or standalone2 for all?!?

Dont get me wrong. We all like to see the vampire standalone. But there are also user in love for real amiga & vampire. If Vampire V4 comes out in a 500 version I will buy it and not the standalone. For me is the look of my Amiga 1000 with 1084 Monitor on top part of the „Amiga-feeling“ . But that’s just what I think. Well, if I have the money, I will buy standalone too, but my real amigas come first.

Yes they are.
The V1200 which right now in testing can also be used with an adapter on the CD32.

Great news.  Thanks.
I was close to order a TF330 bord for my Cd32  (I have a TF328 now, and it is nice to have 8 MB fastram + cfcard for WHDLoad) but now I wait.
Thanks for your answer. The Apollo/Vampire community is awesome.
And thanks to the Apollo/Vampire team. You are the reason why Amiga is still alive.

ahaaaa! now the ide port on the V1200 makes even more sense :)

also, if there is an "adapter" to enable A1200 cpu boards to attach to the CD32's expansion port... hmmm... maybe i could unmoth-ball my ppc card and slap that in my CD32 for a laugh*

*2-3 weeks of evenings wasted cursing conflicting software patches, library versions, power issues, heat issues, PPC kernel debug error codes, finally culminating in resigned failure, and not being about to put the machine back together as i've lost the case screws.

Hi.

So can the A3000/4000 use v1200 with an adapter or will be a different board design?
Any plan?  Thanks

i guess it could be possible, but i think there is some extra logic that would be required for the A3/4k.
i don't think the CPU slot is as "direct" as the A1200/CD32, and this is to my mind from 2 reasons that i can think of.

1. the A3/4k CPU slot is not allowed the full 32bit address space, it only has 128Meg available, plus whatever little bits out of the lower 16meg address space to put the roms and things for anything that is on that board.

2. i recall the Cyberstorm series cards got good chipram throughput, because they managed to do a good job at emulating the 68030 bus. This leads me to believe that the communication protocol is "68030-like with extras". not the direct plug into the address/data bus.

so to work with the 128meg limitation, any extra ram over and above that is going to have to pretend to be a zorro3 ram card and steal either a 128/256/512meg block of that 1.76gig address space - iirc.
but i'm no hardware engineer, this is all just "to my mind" from what i've figured out and understand over the years. I'm probably well out of scope, but willing to learn.

Yes, in theory yes.

But what about buses?!? A1200 had 24bit address and 32bit data bus. A3000 and A4000 had 32/32 bit wide address and data buses.
