| I am trying to get the Demo State of the Art by Spaceballs to run:
EXTERNAL LINK
Both when I use the floppy version and the WHDLoad version (1.3) it halts just after the Spaceballs logo. Nothing more. Just black screen. I can exit with f10 on WHDload but that is it.
Has anybody succeeded in getting it running on a Vampire?
I am running A600 Vampire 2 with core 2.11 and the latest WHDLoad.

| Hello John, I Testing and it work. My config are : A500 with vampire V2+ ang Gold 2.12RC x12 on CoffinOS R54. State of the art are on coffin.

| Ok. Thank you. I am running a 3.1.4.1 install. Maybe the version on CoffinOS is tweaked in some way or the OS is just more Vampire friendly. Will try and see If I can find a difference in the installs.

I think it is more likely the core that has been improved with regards to compatibility with horribly hacky old code that doesn't know or care about fast CPUs.

| Updating to 2.12 RC2 did the trick :-) Now the floppy version of State of the Art works. The WHDLoad version has the same issue but that is probably a WHDLoad related issue. Will fiddle around a little more with that. Thank you very much to the Apollo team for the core update. Looking forward to the final version.
