You are confusing original extra hardware (CPU, RTG, RAM, ...) to extend the Amiga capacity as designed for this computer, with a system hack to take control of it... (like cartridge adapter to run Megadrive games on SNES, ...)

As proof, the Vampire 4 will be totally autonomous because Apollo Team has reached to redo a full computer, and best. In this way, you can have an "Amiga" by "bitting" a ST or Megadrive...

Running demo on Vampire is like runing an different system that never existed. But sure, there is no reason to not do it... Just, it is not Amiga demo.

Using that logic running an A500 demo on an A1200 is running it on a system that never existed (at the time), just like running it on a vampire V4.

I dont get that logic, at all. It is Amiga demo, and it is running on full Amiga compatible system at hardware level (even its done in FPGA).

And this is without counting the thousands of amiga demos (or games btw) on youtube that are actually ran from UAE on GHz PC.

V4 is of different category (still it is Amiga tech), but v500/600 are totally legit imho.

My demo (invitation) released at Revision should be Vampire friendly: EXTERNAL LINK

And here it is running on my V600 and a 92MHz GOLD2.12 beta ;)

EXTERNAL LINK
Enjoy :-)
