Hello,
  we tested so much and the solution is really interesting:
 
 

  Had the same problem until found out it was clock related ! (thanks to Mr-Z)
 
  With correct time set, WeComeInPeace is a slideshow and when I removed the battery and didn't update in any way time, demo went butter smooth.
 
  Change date to 1978 and it will run

Well this is a workaround not really a solution, as said it's under investigation.
