| The beta release of the Gold 2.5 core enabled SD Net. SD Net is now being more widely used. SD Net has been in continuous development for some time but a core to use the latest driver was only available to the developers until recently. An update of the SD Net driver is in the latest SAGA drivers bundle (the bundle had not been updated for quite some time so the SD Net driver included previously was relatively old and useless to most people as they didn't have a suitable core then anyway). Some people seem to be confusing this driver release with developments of future GOLD 3 core like OCS/ECS/AGA and Audio over DIGITAL-VIDEO.

| thank you for clearing that up. I see that beta 2.5 is downloadable now and i may try that but is the Saga 0.12 SDNet working under the A600 vampire too? I probably have the parts here to make a break out cable and a ethernet board somewhere

| The ESP8266 module which attaches to the header on the V500? I have that already but assumed from the name that it was something which connected to the SD slot? If it is the ESP8266 module, then I should probably test it out.

From what I've been told, it is broken out via the SD card slot, some one on IRC suggested this breakout to me: EXTERNAL LINK I'm not sure what the deal is with Wireless or it has been tested to any extent, I do know for Wired the suggested module is an ENC28J60 device. I picked this up from Amazon, some may be able to get it slightly cheaper from china: EXTERNAL LINK

| Hello, is there a full overview/explanation of the SAGA tooltypes? Only few can be found in the FAQ, some in the German Picasso96 Guide and some more in the English Picasso96 Guide. Would be nice to have an overview. :)

SAGA does not have any special tool types. Only amount of reserved video mem.

| I understand, but just look into the icon tooltypes. :) Everything can be deleted there?

I'm not fully sure that I understand what you try to fix. Can you ping me in IRC, maybe we can the quicker fix it?

| I think you should just keep the standard tooltypes, unless you don't want the system to be able to open various file types? They are related to WB and not to the Vampire/SAGA.

| Will try. This can be also a problem for inexperienced users playing around with this tooltypes without full description. :)Interesting is display chain, fakenativemodes, fonts fix which I turned on, overclocking yes.... I will try not to play around with them. :)

| Actually i could explain them. And even played with some of them by modifying jason driver. What could be tell is there are some that are handled by p96 itself, and some tooltypes that have to be handled by the .card itself. For example overclock which can be used by the driver to limit max MHz, or the video memory size used by the driver.
