Excellent.

I have pulled my A1000, A500, A2000 and A4000 out of boxes.  Looking at what I need to fix them and do electrolytic capacitor changes.

Yes, sounds like fun.

Maybe macrofab will be an option for the stand-alone version, but not the accelerator-boards.
I've more or less given up on my messed up a1200, so I'm not going to buy an accelerator, but rather wait for the stand-alone Amiga Apollo.
In the meantime my Patreon-idea stands if the team wants free money to cover expenses.

I don't want to lower sales of anything, but the standalone, for many many reasons is the best option.

Unfortunately, it's biggest obstacle to adoption is PRICE.

But even that is insignificant, if you consider that you were using that gosh darn computer you have now since 198x-199x until today.... It's paid for itself 10 times over hasn't it? THIS computer could be just as good an investment over the NEXT 10 to 15 years too!!!

1 Gigabyte of CURRENT GENERATION fast RAM. No leaky capacitors. MUCH faster FPGA (CPU) than the add-on Vampire ][.

At about $700 Canadian, it's an UNBEATABLE deal!

It really is a small price to pay for getting the "super deluxe" (with cheese).

So in Canada is cheaper to produce the boards?
Ok.
I believe you know the waiting list for those boards, and from what I see, in foruns, chitchat with friends, etc, it's kind of a big list.
There are loads of people that don't buy it because of the long waiting list, and also the fact you don't answer emails, or take too much time to answer them. There are many capable board houses in EU that can make boards at a competitive price, even if boards are a bit more expensive, it's worth to pay.  People get their boards faster, so those 50% are not an excuse to make those boards by hand and outside EU for EU people. In fact BGA should be assembled on board by a industrial/professional machine.
It's just terrible to see people wanting it so much, that they are already paying for A600+vampire v2 more than 800 euros on EBAY. So they don't have to wait.
I understand you're doing all you can to help people getting their boards ASAP, but this is not a one man job.

p.s. You can get sick, but paying people just don't care.

There are already slower alternatives. This is not classic hardware. Amiga stopped being used as a professional computer around the 90's. So, it would only be worth if it was a cheaper solution than what classic amiga with 060 is right now.
This cannot be considered as an investment, this is a hobby/games/fun computer. The 68K study and improvment made here is just amazing and should be paid. 700USD is not cheap for most people, maybe it is for you country.
But that idea you have, is the best from my point of view, fpga amiga inside an amiga 1200 case with keyboards etc, just like in the old days. What a hobby/games/fun computer it would be.
Cheers!

I know the waiting is painful, but at the price they are selling Vampire 600v2 for its worth the wait....if
we had to pay a high price for the board it might not sell.....at this price these guys are guatenteed
to put a Vampire card in every working A600 out here...if you are accustomed to paying high prices
for accelerators & graphic boards you wont mind the waiting...(many Amigans can tell you)....

Boards are partially preassembled in Asia. you cannot beat this price, we decided on a low price, it CANNOT! be produced for this price anywhere commercially, We will not increase price to accommodate the unexpected rush that has happened, if this is too much of a wait for people then it has to be. fpga is put on the board by me in a proper reflow oven using correct reflow techniques. I sense you are very unhappy with this process, other retro products can have a waiting process also.

I'm not unhappy, I'm just asking, nothing more.
Now I understand.
Thanks ;)
