Tested the core and now i see why is alpha, the interlaced effect on the screen is very cool and i love how workbench look on the aga mode on the amiga.
Aga games and demos look great and smooth amazing work.

When i looked at beta videos from the core i noticed the workbench was always at 640x200 now i can confirm that is because its the max mode available. I can set interlaced mode but its really interlaced.

In my case using the audio from the hdmi spliter the volume is very low and sound very tinny.

So much work must be done to get this things working fine 2.10 core is super stable and a very smooth experience fast and feature full.

At least this alpha release will stop people from winning about "please let me betatest the core" all the time and give the team some peace.

I will keep 2.10 in my case love to get a glimpse on the future :)

Thanks. It was a joke, since it gives higher refresh rate as opossed to interlacing.

640x200 was high res for A1200, stop whining!

Have someone tried the v600 version of the core3 alpha?? Me and a friend have flashed the core and had the same problem: the system was unable to boot. It seems the core is unstable. Our v600 are both power fixed and have no problem running 2.10 x11..

I have the same problem. Core 2.10 x11 or x12 is stable. I have powerfix (2x47uF)

Its OK to launch games, but there a lot of stuff on coffin that don't even fit on the screen even dialogs from the prefs programs.
Will try overscan :D

I got it working on my (unmodded, mind you) V600, but it takes a little patience. Sometimes it boots right away, however sometimes it requires a few power on/off cycles to "click". Once it's live it seems quite stable. Don't know why this is the case for V600, but don't give up just yet :)

this core struggles to start. I would say 10% of the ignitions work.

Vampire 600v2 Gold 2.10 x12 perfect working.

Same here. V600v2 starts 1 out of 100 tries.
V500v2 accepts the core, and starts fine.
... and interestingly my v600v2.1 died after flashing the core. :(
quartus says:

Info (209060): Started Programmer operation at Mon Sep 24 19:50:07 2018
Error (209040): Can't access JTAG chain
Error (209012): Operation failed
Info (209061): Ended Programmer operation at Mon Sep 24 19:50:07 2018

So i'm a little bit confused now.

I guess we shouldn't just be testing AGA stuff right? While the hype is on "AGA on every Amiga", this core is simply the first that supports any native Amiga video mode, correct? So we should also check ECS and OCS games, shouldn't we?

Of course. ECS compatibility is a cornerstone of AGA.

The v600 core is unstable. Almost every 600 have struggles with boot.. please put a working core so v600 owners can help in the aga debug

With the new core my Vampire 500 v2 + refuses to work with my Amiga 500+, neither does it with my Amiga 2000. With other cores I have no problem.
My vampire bought it from Majsta on eBay and has the new capacitors on.
The bug I detect is that it does not activate the hdmi output.

Testing on my A600 and it sort of boots every 3rd or 4th try. It’s seems better if I enter early access menu but it always gurus after this , however the kickstart logo appears. However floppy access seems broken - it just clicks and stops. I haven’t tried ide yet , does that work ?

Hi, Mike. Thanks for trying it out. IDE, onboard microSD and PCMCIA work perfectly. Floppy drive won't work in this core revision.
