Booting Apollo OS With Vampire Boot

Hi,

i'd like to boot Apollo OS on my A600, from an SD card.
I have several SD cards available.

EXTERNAL LINK
From Top to bottom:
- Sandisk Ultra Micro SDHC 32GB
- Intenso Micro SDHC 32GB
- Samsung EVO Plus SDXC 64GB

No matter if i use Win32DiskImager on Windows or dd on Linux,
the Apollo OS image (r43) does not fit on the 32GB cards.

It will fit on the 64GB card, which seems also to be compatible
since SDDiag can determine the size correctly.

I can boot Apollo OS from any of these cards, (even the image
gets truncated at the very end of the image) by putting them into
my CF/SD Adapter and connect it to the Amiga 600 IDE.

The "Build Mountlist" script of Vampire Boot stops with this errormessage:

Which DOSTYPE is Vampire Boot looking for?

My Vampire is still at core Gold2. I got my USB Blaster, so
i feel safe to upgrade to experimental Gold2.5 next up.

It seems the Dos Type used for the PFS3 filesystem is 50445303 (PDS/3) and vampire boot only checks for 50465303 (PFS/3).

The difference seems to be if NSD or Direct SCSI is used. I guess you could try and change the script S:PatchMountlist on the Vampire Boot disk from:
> search T:_mountlistline "0x50465303" >NIL:
to:
> search T:_mountlistline "0x50445303" >NIL:
and see if that works. I'm not well traversed in NSD and Direct SCSI and I'm not sure if you would need to add another filesystem file to L: on the disk aswell or if the same file is used for both and only the Dos Type identifies which should be used.

Try to add some echo lines in the script. That way you can follow the steps up to the error.
