| Vampire unboxing and contemplating what the FPGA really is and much more to coming soon... I think an FPGA for a CPU is the same as a CD-RW for to a CD-ROM. If someone uses the emulation word in the vampire context, he has not understood what it is all about.

Nice video. But depressing that even in WinUAE it makes absolutly not point in redering 3d on the miggy. Its more or less realtime in blender nowdays.

| what is so depressing about technical progress? if today pcs can render naturalistic environments in real time, thanks to massive and speedy parallel processing of available gpus, how should legacy hardware and software from the end of last millenium possibly keep up with it even under emulation on these pcs?

I agree, it’s completely different. Also, once Apollo Core goes ASIC... :)I love the way Maddi always says ”hello and welcome” in her videos, she sounds so happy! And who can blame her? Amiga is pure love! ;) It’s also really nice to hear her laugh at herself time after time xD I remember the first time I saw one of her vids, I was thinking ”who is this girl? Haha” now I just love watching her videos. Also, I agree with her that enemies that kill you in games are ”stoopid freakin fresks” xD lol!!

| Yes Igor, Stephen did an excellent review on the Vampire. Fun to watch. He did say for himself that if Gold 3 doesn’t utilize the amiga chip set that he will stay in version 2.7 He also says it is going in his Amiga 1000 which would be difficult due to it’s limited chipram.

| Love Stephens videos! He's someone who understands that 68K Amiga must move forward rather than get stuck in the past by some users who insist on imposing limitations on the platform. As he said, development is something that Jay Miner and his team wanted but was choked by Commodore in the interests of saving money. Amiga has now become a concept that has moved beyond both Commodore and Motorola and it's great to see teams like Apollo moving that concept forward. Looking forward to seeing what happens in the future!
