Kickstart Roms Within the Vampire 600 V2

I know the kickstart is now within the Vampire. So does this mean if say have kick start switch with 1.3 and 3.1, I can longer use the switch has the vampire has higher priority than standard rom socket.

Also if say have 3.X Cloanto Rom is it not possible to use this or is the vampire updates more update than the updates within Cloanto's rom 3.x?

Just curious

I think Vampire must have higher priority, because if not- You will everytime boot from board instead of vampire kick. But I think team will give us choice whitch kick should boot- this on vampire (master) or start load to fast this from board (slave). I think it's perfect way :)
Or mayby they will create some boot selector, choice kick from memory and then boot selected one (few on memory, one from board).

The Vampire does contain an Eprom in which a Kick can be flashed.
This Eprom allows to have later a bugfixed Kick including drivers for the SD-Card.

In addition to this you can of course softkick any kickstart loaded e.g from CF.

Ok thanks think I understand now. So when Majsta has made my vampire and have it plugged in, I don't need anything in the rom socket.

Has ROM is now done by Vampire.
