It resets three times before going into workbench. I know there is an issue with my start up and picasso , could that be it?

One would need a look at your startup sequence to figure this one out, or at least have an idea about what OS you are running.

Could it be that in your S-S, you install Kickstart patches?

In the "dark ages" people needed to use install such patches to fix filesystem and add support for big drives, and add patches for Shapershifter.

All such fixes are included in the Vampire-Kickstart already.
Do not over-re-patch the fixes Vampire Kick.

Could be. The CF card hard drive is from my 1200 setup which has an indivision accelerator.
I know it has maprom features.

I need to bone up on the Saga picasso screen setup  also to get a good display. Also other legacy lines in my startup from multiple installations. The latest was some sort of icon update in 3.9 which messed with my settings.

When you know a little you sure can be dangerous.

Perhaps, if you posted the whole startup-sequence that you use here, and which model Amiga and AOS version you're using, someone could possibly help out. (Also, startupii or any other script launched from S-S.)

it sounds like that

I uses loadmodule in aros vision to replace icon library in aros rom replacement, if that operation fails it starts again
