Hi,
I'd like to know if there is anyway to deactivate the internal ide controller of the V500 V2+?
I've several scsi devices and i'd like to use my old ARCHOS ADD2000 scsi card.
Thanks a lot :)

There is no need and no reason to kill A to use B.

I agree with that, but the B2000 does not initialize if the card is inserted. Perhaps an incompatibility with scsi.device...

I do not know if this card was ever tested.

I have not tested (didn't need), but same IDE terminator which I used with Blizzard SCSI Kit IV should work. It does not deactivate IDE, but it takes away Kickstart 3.1 ~30 seconds IDE drive seeking time in boot. I'm not sure if this gives any help for your case. Have you tried to disable fastmem from SCSI controller card?

Well, it seems to work. it take 30 seconds to boot with ide drive and 1min05 without disk.
Thanks a lot :)
