V4 SA SD Card Not Working

Hello,

I've tried other solutions on the forum and have been doing everything that I've done in the past, but am unable to get the SD card to mount and load files from another computer into the V4.

I'm running the latest firmware core.
Using the Solo boot option and have tried workbench 3.1, 3.2.2,and the original factory CF card with the latest release of apollo os on it.

When I use the format utility it says it sees SD0 but it gives it a 0k size. When I try and mount the SD card it says it's mounted. Of course now when I try to mount it, it says Error, but when it did say mounted, I got the 0k message.

The SD cards I've used (4gb and 64gb) have been formatted with FAT32 on a Mac, but I have a PC if that's needed.

The only thing I haven't tried when using Balenca etcher to write the CF cards is to wipe them first, but the install using FS-UAE is exactly like in the YouTube video from Apollo.

My Mac worked fine for doing other installs before, just trying to get this working so I can send it to a friend who needs it.

Thanks!

For normal support question, I can suggest to use our Discord server.

Regarding using SDcard for data exchange from PC.
Using FAT32 is correct for this.
There are many different ways to format a SDcard sometimes Sdcards are prepartioned or the PC will create automatically partitions when formatting. Please note that the Amiga filesystem drivers will NOT expect this and can get confused by this. We recommedn to use the PC tooll RUFUS for formatting.
