I wanted to share this, as it took a while to figure out how to flash the core on my Vampire SA, and wanted to thank a user (pfilnerd) in Discord for pointing me to this USB Blaster 2:

After much searching on Quartus forums, I found that using Quartus Lite 18.1 with Cyclone V device support and driver (it has a hardware wizard that runs after the software is installed, the driver was from 2017, I can put the version number if anyone needs it), worked on the above device to easily flash the FPGA core to the current version on my Windows 11 laptop.

I had tried to use the Apollo Youtube video and the original USB Blaster from the Apollo Shop, but nothing worked on Windows 11. I am not a programmer or anything, but it wasn't very difficult after watching the Youtube video on how it worked and getting the right device and software. It may work on the latest Quartus 23.1 but I haven't tested it out, just happy to get back to working on my Vampire with a new core!

Oh and I am no expert at programming, just an old Amiga user, other smarter people figured this out, just wanted to share it as it's been over a month since I got to work on my Vampire and I just wanted to contribute to this awesome community! Long live the Amiga!!!
