Access to "slower" Cores? X10, X11, X12?

Having lots of issues with lockups after I upgraded to 2.17 GOLD core. (both under Coffin and vanilla WB installs)

I notice core 2.17 is x12 multiplier, and I believe the old core I was running (2.9 I think) was x11. Is there any way to either change the multiplier down, or get a slower 2.17 core?

From a troubleshooting standpoint, having access to slower cores would be very beneficial.

Hello D,

Gold 2.9 is over 6 years old now ... are you sure that you ran this core?

If you now install a new core then a lot has changed ... please make sure that you update all drivers and also all tools.

Can I suggest you come into our Discord support channel, this will make it much easier to support you and help you.

Cheers

Yes, sadly my A1200 sat in a box for a while, didn't get played with.. Life has slowed down a lot, time to catch up on my favorite hobbies.

Updated all the drivers, running SAGA 2.9 (didn't have good luck with the 3.x betas)

been hanging out there.. got some help with my now-non-functional MicroSD slot (may have to send it in for repairs). I saw other threads about V1200's crashing under 2.17 - figured I'd ask more directly, since this is the forum google searches find.

Would you be willing to publish say x10, x11, and x12 versions of at least 2.17, let us test, see if the slower cores solve the hard-lockup issues I'm having since I upgraded?

All V1200 on the market should be able to run x12 without problems.

Let us look in detail in your issue, to understand and solve them together.
