Problem With Flashing Icedrake Core

After years of using almost all the Apollo/Vampire products, the time has come to dust off that blaster and flash the latest core to the Icedrake. However, to my surprise, it seems like the JTAG pins and header are simply missing! It is how the board came to my hands but I never had to flash a new core. Is this normal?

The JTAG header is on purpose on the back of the board .. so that you can easily update it using the backdoor of the A1200 - without the need to open the top case.
