Are There Plans to Turn the USB Into ...

Just curious, are there road task ahead where the USB in firebird and the rest of the vampire series will be also a data USB? Are there future plans where users can use their favorite external hard drive/usb stick and with fast speed of USB 2.0 they will be able to read/write from that specific media disk?
