V4+ Standalone In Printed A600 Case

As mentioned in the subject I like to build an Amiga600 lookalike with a V4+.

After playing with an existing Model inside Blender I still wonder about a few issues.

The website mentions the dimensions of the V4+ as "3cm high and 12cm wide".
Are the dimensions of the case exactly 12cm x 12 cm x 3cm ?
What are the exact dimensions of the board without the case?
From inside blender it looks like the Apollo case would be just a little to big to fit under the keyboard.

Are there already existing solutions to connect additional power and drive LED s?

Instead of holes for the floppy I like to modify the case to feature a more versatile 3.5" bay.
In that bay this card reader would be my preferred solution:
EXTERNAL LINK
It comes with an eject button and features both a 40 and a 44 pin ide connector.
But it also requires its own power supply by a floppy power connector.

Is the mentioned cf card reader working with the vampire?
The device is not hot plug-able.
Will the vampire support that in the future or does it already?
Can the power for the device be taken from the power of the 44 pin ide?
Or are there other solutions?

The only working (listed) USB keyboard that fits the needs of the A600 is the Rii RK104.
Does anyone own this piece of hardware and can give me the dimensions of the board inside the case?
With case the keyboard is only slightly wider than the A600 thus the hope it will fit.

So the plan is to change the A600 case by those items:
* get rid of the trapdoor. I can't think what purpose it should fulfill in that kind of build.
* get rid of the hole for the pcmcia slot.
* Adjust the io area to fit the needs of the V4+ combined with an omniport card. This also includes mountpoints for power and sd card extensions.
* replace floppy cover area with a 3.5" bay opening.
* adjust the keyboard cover to fit with the Rii RK104.

What do you think?
