What about the 68020, why does that have slowdown.

Well an Amiga game typically is coded for 50 FPS.
The type for render one frame is 20 millisecond.

If a game needs longer than 20 Millisecond than normally FPS would degrade - but the game should still play the same speed.
Little more jerky - but without slowdown.

Only really bad coded games will have a slowdown.

Lets assume you have a bad coded game and that needs 35 ms per frame. Then this will result in rounded up 40ms per update = halve speed.

If you have a little faster CPU... that brings this down to lets say 25 millisecond = than the CPU is faster but rounded up this is still 40 milliesecond = halve speed.

You need a significant faster CPU to bring this down to less than 20 millisecond to "feel" a difference.

Another question, why does the V4 not have slowdown with the 000 stuff ?

V4 is very fast.
The Apollo 68080 is like 300 times faster than your A500 was.

I have one A1200 with indivision 030 and three A600s, two with V2 and one with Furia.
I find interesting what you said about the A1200 speaking 030.
Is it fair to say the A600 will have slowdown regardless which accelerator used.
An A600 030 accelerator will probably have the same problem.

Oh, I also have a V4 SA that I will dig out and flash the new core.

What happens with my serial ? Do I have to buy a license ?
