People often look for new power supply for their old Amiga.
Please be very careful with so called new power supplies for Amiga.

There are on market some new power supplies which are internally based on the "Meanwell 50" PSU. Those are often incorrectly marketed with being twice as strong as original AMIGA PSU. This marketing is not correct.
The Meanwell 50 is on the important 5V line weaker than most original Amiga 500 PSU were.
Many people have reported problems with these power supplies.
I can not recommend to use any of these.

From what people reported the meanwell 65B is much better in quality.

I am one of the unlucky one that bought such PSU on eBay and actually I'm looking for another one. Maybe my problems with SD slot and RTC are related to this.

I am Using CA-PSUs that are known as good Powersupplys, they meet the Standards of the original Commodore PSUs...and can do more than only giving enough Power for good expanded Amigas... :)

Yeah Mean Well RT50-B the 5V rail is rated for 4A, while the original type II A500 is 4.5A. Also to note the original Type I A500 and the A600/A1200 PSUs are real weak they were barely rated to run their stock configurations. Type I is 2.5 and the A600/A1200 are 3A...

The Mean Well RT65-B is rated to handle 5A on the 5V rail, it a shame it's a bit bigger so it's not quite as compact. If you're not running an accelerator I'd say these Mean Well RT50-B based supplies are a good substitution, just not that great when you're running an accelerator with a ton of addon modifications.

I also think the market has been flooded with some knock off of Mean Well Power supplies, which may be part of the issue as well, just go through a reputable electronics supplier when sourcing your supplies, and avoid these shady ebay sales.
