CF Card Slot V4+

It would be nice if you could change the CF cards in the future without opening the V4 +. Maybe through an insert on the right or left side. So you could switch from ApolloOS to Coffin or Amikit without any problems.

It's just an idea but maybe you can develop an upgrade. You could also solve that with the additional USB port.

I understand what you want but you can do this already without swapping CF. You can install different OS on the same CF and using Vampire Boot Loader can select which OS to boot.

Does this help you?

Would be cool to have a slot for CF card to be inserted like the SD card is. Maybe in V5 :)

The V4 Omni bootloader does that. Get a 64Gb CF, you can put Coffin, AmiKit, AoS versions all on the same card. Switching OSes only requires clicking the button for that OS from a menu. Really slick. Contact WillemDrijver (Willemdrijver@mac.com) he should be able to set you up. He maintains the utility. He's also very active in Discord

It's an idea I'll definitely implement one day. I have 4 CF cards here with ApolloOS, Coffin, AmiKit and OS3.2. That will take a while to implement. But it's definitely an alternative.

Maybe my suggestion will be heard anyway ;)

If you want then you can do what you proposed.
You can use CF adapter with short cable (5cm)
You can move the CF adapter to the rear side
and if you make an opening e.g. in the panel over the DIGITAL-VIDEO,
then you can out the adapter there.

Thanks first for your support, I am a fan of your work.

I would prefer a design for a 3D print :) I don't want to make changes to the fancy case.
