Hallo to everyone,

today I decided to flash my Vampire 500V2+ to the latest "V500_R214_7987.jic" with the USB-Blaster. So far so good.

Afterwards I copied vampireflash und vampiremap from the latest SAGA Drivers 2.7 to a floppy disk together with the kickstart rom from my recently acquired OS 3.2 CD.

I can vampiremap the kickstart to my card but I can not vampireflash the same file to the card. I get the error message:

Vampireflash 1.13 (12.08.21) (c) 2019-2021 Henryk Richter
Error, Cannot identify ROM location in Flash. Currently supported releases: GOLD 2.10-2.14.

I do have to latest release on the Vampire-Card.

Can someone tell me, what I can do to flash the card permanently with the Kickstart ROM 3.2.

It is inconvinient to vampiremap the ROM every time I start my Amiga.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Greetings Joachim

Good evening,

can someone confirm the behavior of the 500V2+ with the kickstart file as described obove? If I am  not the only person, maybe someone knows Hanryk Richter and can show him this post.

Thank you for helping me.

Greetings Joachim

Nope doenst work, wanted to flash kickstart 3.2, but it says de core isnt supported, i'm on the last version too. Already asked this on discord.
Normally vampiremap is the way to go for me, but since i keep having the insert ENV message i wanted to give vampireflash a go.

I got the exact same message on both 2.12 and now on 2.14. It's very annoying. Can you flash the kickstart with usb-blaster?
