Still no news about the Kraken, or any Vampire project for A3000/4000? I spotted the odd mention here and there in forums it could be  cancelled... NoOOoo!
Can we have an official word from the team?

Note there is a new big box hybrid 68060/FPGA accelerator project in beta now, called the Z3660. Google it, beta boards are on sale soon. Would be interesting to see what the team thinks of it!

Don't get me wrong, I'd much prefer a proper Vampire in my 3000 - but after all this time with no update, maybe it's not meant to happen...

Looks like you still need an 060 for that board.. pass.. will wait for the real deal from Apollo team.

Yep, agreed! 
An A3000/A4000 Vampire will get my preference too.
 
  But we've been waiting over 2 years with very little updates, and the Apollo team has been very busy doing a great job on cool things for all the other Amigas (even the A1000 and A2000 are getting their official extender boards with Shapeshifter and Salamander!).
  So I was just pointing out that, in the meantime, other FPGA projects are progressing and now approaching release for A3000/A4000.
