Just installed the new driver for the vampire v2 Saga v 2.6.1 now the sdcard won't work, it does show up on the desktop but says under the icon (not readable) but it works on the old Saga driver,and it's readable in the pc, but when i install the older saga driver it work fine.And i changed it from compactflash.device to sagasd.device that should have fixed the problem but same problem still not working,Any help would be Grateful.  :)
  Forgot to nention am running Coffin R57

Do you need the new driver? The Change Log doesn't give an impressive reason to update.

Unlike bare AmigaOS - fully packed Coffin comes with all needed SAGA drivers.

Re-imagining the Coffin R58 advised would be best.

  Speed? If old version was 2.5.

  [2.6]
  * Updated SAGA SD driver to 0.13
      * Improved speed for V4 and V2 (req. GOLD2.13)

  Are you talking about a V2 or a V4 machine? What do you mean "you changed the compactflash.device to sagasd.device"? These are 2 different devices and should co-exist. It works fine on my V1200.
  Since there is no other benefit for the V2 machines, the only thing you sould do is copy from the new saga drivers 2.6.1 package, Devs:sagasd.device to your Sys:Devs/
  The new SD drivers work fine and indeed provide and speed boost to your SD card. Also if you have messed up your compactflash.device driver, please restore it because your PCMCIA compact flash card won't work anymore.

On Coffin R58, i tried SAGA 2.6.1 but with the same result, sdcard access was erronous, but i find the culprit, i have tracked down the error to c:Giggledisk (i Have saved the previous giggledisk and copied it to c: back & to be sure, i rebooted & then the SCcard Access is back :) )

Hi,Nikos Pagonis, AM talking about the v2 for the Amiga 500,that's why i changed the Compactflash.Device to Saga.Device no use for the compact flash.Device, I thought that installing the latest drivers are for improvments that why i installed the driver.

Ok Mark. Thanks for letting me know. Did you finally managed to make it work or there is an issue on the V500?

The Saga driver uses a new SDCARD hardware mode.
You will need a new FPGA core to use it.
The new FPGA core is not even released yet.

Hi Gunnar, does that mean i have to wait for a core update, as i don't want to use the Blaster to flash the Vampire, not very good with things like that.

You did the right thing to re-install the original SAGA driver.

Going forward Can you add a table matrix for the supported cores and model as its not clear on what devices are support by the saga drivers

Some people had the Problem in the AmigaOs3.2 Released-thread.

My Tip:

Workaround: If the SDcard is inserted & mounted, to umount type in the CLI (whats is easier) FlushSD then Enter, it Reports

GetDeviceProc() Succeeded!
Unlock() succeeded!
Dismount SD0:
Dismount nameofSDCard:
Opencount forced to Zero.

the card is unounted and ready to be taken out...
then put your SDcard back into Vampire
Then in The Cli enter C:Mount Devs:/Dosdrivers/SD0 OR C:Mount Sys:Storage/Dosdrivers/SD0 to mount it & it works
& 2nd Possibility is to Doubleclick on the SD0: Icon in devs/Dosdrivers OR sys:Storage/dosdrivers (where the SD0: Icon is located.

I hope this helps (on SAGA2.6.1 without using giggledisk for this approach)
