Karlos, I just remembered every V4 has dual ROM. There is a small jumper onboard that sets which one is used, but please ask someone from team. So switching to other position gives you back also version that was flashed in production and can also bring life temporarily, before blaster or new EXE come.

Well, I'm happy to report that the reflash was 100% successful. The Vampire lives again ... thanks for your advice.

| Good luck with that, Vojin, To be honest, looking back on it, it was actually trickier to install the Altera USB Blaster driver than to flash the core. I probably wouldn't have said that as the flash was being performed and I was keeping my fingers crossed ...
