If someone's a native speaker (and all the more, a technical person), please create (or then, update) V4SA (and V2 etc.) webpage at the wikipedia.  Let us help our community to grow - this is definitely the way.

The only mention on the wiki is AFAIR mine, here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amiga_models_and_variants#Other_AmigaOS_compatible_computers

It is good to link Vampire under Amiga, AmigaOS and other static pages.

This is a great idea.  I could imagine sections on:

- NATAMI
- original Vampire work
- V2/Accelerator
- V4SA
- ApolloOS
- Ongoing work and the community

There is so much that has happened over the last 10+ years.  The story is amazing.  I'm technical and speak native English.  I can help write but I would need input from someone who knew the history.

Hi Geoff,

Here is recent interview with Gunnar where he is elaborating about project history (in the making;)

Thanks.  I have seen part of that one.  Perhaps I'll watch the whole thing and take notes so that we can pull together the relevant information in a single place.  I wonder who would approve it before publication?  Gunnar?

I would ask Gunnar for approval indeed.

If you're on Discord I can forward you a few old NatAmi era interviews.

Sure Bartek.  That would be great.  I did some looking around and it sounds like there may be some challenges to getting a new Wiki page accepted but we can only try.  I'm Geoff#1904 (I think - don't use Discord much).

Amending Wiki back in the Natami days was like wading through glue¯\_(:/)_/¯

I propose writting some text first and then, getting approval "on-the-go".

We (I presume) might use the Apollo wiki somehow, to get the sketch of the text to be put into the Wikipedia.  Has anyone access to it?  Would someone create the appropriate page?  I'm in!

The wiki synthax should match the WIkipedia syntax more or less.

  I'd personally add sections like:

  - Amiga and AmigaOS in general (could be a stub) --> link
  - Amiga 1200 (could be a stub) --> link
  - 90's' plans: SAGA, 080 (?)
  - MiniMig (as the first FPGA emulating Amiga/A500 been manufactured) --> link
  - CoffinOS (legal dispute)
  - List of OSes and distributions supported by V4SA --> some linked
  - PC software on V4 (non-Commodore-compatible, like Doom, Diablo etc.) --> some linked
  - V4 BootLoader

  Now, that's something!

BTW when I returned to Amiga (2009), what I did first was scanning the Wikipedia and putting all terms on Google.  So this IS important to have a Wiki page.

Some good thoughts there.  I'm not sure about addressing Coffin.  Perhaps as updates to AOS pages.  I know it's an area of challenge for some and may not be appropriate.  I was also thinking a section on SAGA to match the AGA sections in the A1200/A4000 pages in Wikipedia.

I like the idea of having a local page we can iterate on and get feedback before publishing.  I took a look at the Apollo accelerators wiki and a lot of the hardware/OS information is already there.  Just seems to be missing the historical and overview entries you would expect in Wikipedia.  Perhaps we should start helping out there?

I couldn't find any contact information on the Wiki pages for a moderator.  Do we know who is responsible for wiki.apollo-accelerators.com?

Haha!  Thanks.  Didn't realize we already had the right person on the thread.  Good thing I didn't say anything I might regret.  :)  I'll jump on Discord.

I'll see what I can pull together and send it over on Discord.  I've been chatting with Bartek and I've reached out to MuadDib to see if it makes sense to include some of the info on wiki.apollo-accelerators.com.  Time is always a challenge but it'd be nice to help out.

Looks like I have a few hours of listening to Gunner interviews and reading up on old pages!  Haha!

Please let me know if there is anyone else I should be reaching out to.  Cheers!
