It's a great machine and love the fact of just owning a brand new top of the range Amiga.  Something I could only dream about in the late 80's early 90's.  It's good now and can only get better.  Have fun!

Thank you. It's very responsive that's for certain. Boots up more quickly than my A1200 with a 68030 card and CF.

Worked beautifully and displayed nicely on my 60" 4K TV.

Could you quote the brand and model?  I also plan plugging V4SA into a 4K OLED TV alas when I was owing my previous Vampire (Nov 2019), I had serious issues with display compatibility.

I can recommend many monitors.
Right I use 3 different model of ViewSonic and all of them have crystal clear picture.
Workbench is sharp and Amiga games look excellent.

My TV is a Sony Bravia. I bought it right around the time HDR was being touted as a big deal on some sets.

I will likely check the V4 with my older 1080p or current 1440p monitors before too long.

I tested the old core back then in November (V4SA from Neuss) and it did not work on my Sony Bravia KDL-40EX720, at all.

Now I'll get a new chance to test is on my Sony Bravia KD-65AG8, as

I JUST GOT EMAIL FROM APOLLO TEAM THAT I COULD BUY MY V4SA!!!

Looks like the queue sped up as i was placed around "November orders" yet in July, as Miri kindly told me back then.

So guys reserving V4SA around March: the time is nigh :-)

Thank You Gunnar & Miri, thank You the Team!!

That's great news. Hopefully, the V4 will work for you. My Sony is a XBR-55X810C if that's any help.

Here in the US, we get some problems due to limited PAL support. I think newer displays are less tolerant/flexible on that front than older ones.

Hey Mr. Noyce, I have long been an admirer of your grandfather Robert.

Thank you. If you're referring to Robert Noyce (of Fairchild Semiconductor and Intel), he was one of my uncles. There were four brothers in that group. Dad was an ordained minister (Protestant), and taught classes at the seminary which was part of Yale University. Ralph worked as an engineer with IBM for many years, and Don was in the medical field I believe.

Hi,

Has anyone put their name on the V4SA waiting list in the last few months and received their device yet? I'm trying to get an idea how far down the list I am.

Thanks,

Mike

Mine was the case.

An interest stated: ca. Mar 20th.
An inbound 'ready-to-go' email: Sep. 5th

The interval: thus almost 6 months.

If you wait shorter, do inspect your inbox sooner now!
