3D Printed Trapdoor Cover

So while I wait for my V1200 I decided to give it a fresh trapdoor cover ready for when I can get it installed :D

nice! how ... flexible are the 3d printed things? only asking because the retaining clips on both my A500's trapdoor and side expansion port cover have snapped due to age.

i like the logo! :D

It does depend on things like thickness and direction of print. The way this one has been printed means it will allow to bend somewhat along it's length. I've printed one of these before (plain) and it bends a little as it goes in and didn't seem to care :)

PLA sometimes can be a bit too rigid and brittle, ABS often is a bit softer and flexible.

Yeah, I've used PETG for this. I had previously made on with PLA but it also softened due to the heat of my current accelerator and deformed lol
