Vampire 500 V2+ Not Doing Anything!

I have I big problem with my Vampire 500 V2+. After buying it a few weeks ago, it started up to the boot screen via DIGITAL-VIDEO (Core 2.9). But then it did not even activate the floppy drive let alone the compact flash on IDE.
So I tried to install the latest core 2.12 (I suppose x12 is just newer than x11?) with the USB blaster. Everything worked fine. My PC reported "100% successful".
But starting the Vamp again was a big failure. The Amiga starts and the blue PWR-light onm the Vamp turns on. But not the red led (ACT). And no signal gets to the monitor. Neither via DIGITAL-VIDEO nor RGB.
I tried removing my USB-keyboard-adaptor, I tried a different core (2.12 x11, 2.11). Nothing. The Amiga itself works perfectly with 68.000.
Do I have to install a SAGA core, too? I thought this would be done with the drivers later.

I understand that this is your first attempt to use your vampire on your amiga 500, correct?

is your vampire 100% secured on your 68000 Socket?
what os are you using? what revision?
where did you get your vampire card from?
I would go for X10 (if available) or x11 before going to x12
I doubt that its a power supply issue, but it's worth checking your power supply if its giving enough juice to the vampire.

can you upload a photo of your setup? this will answer a lot of questions

No x11 and x12 is the multiplier for the 7.xx mhz clock.

Which means its the cpu frequence. 7x11 or 7x12.

I suggest you try flash it again with x11.

If it fails. Fall back to older cores until it works.

Im not familiar with the v500 boards.
But latest core on x12 could be too fast for your board. Or it need some power mods unless its the boards that this is already taken care of.

Sorry for not answering. I thought I would be informed via mail about new posts and set aside the project for a while.
I tried to go back all the way to core 2.9. That was the one it had, when I got the Vampire from ebay. After buying it started to the main screen. It doesn't do this anymore.
Right now I use the Amiga in a Checkmate 1500 case with an SFX power supply (bequiet SFX2-300W). The system starts well with the 68000 installed. Can it be an incompatibility with the case's ATX-adaptor-card? Unfortunately I do not own an original Amiga PSU. That also means, I never used the Vampire in any other way than in the case.
What OS I use should not be of any importance, as the system doesn't get that far. The V is sitting tightly in its socket.

I also misunderstood Christer Sigfrids post. So I tried x11 and x10, too. But still no success...

So, for everyone with similar problems: After reading counless posts and visiting several websites, I came to the powerfix-solution - right before giving up. Although it is said, that you only need it for the V600, the architecture was too similar, so I tried it with my V500 Rev. 2. And indeed: it worked!! Right now I´m running Core 2.12. x10. I didn't dare trying out a faster version, as it's actually working and you shouldn't change a running system.
I looked a bit into it and had a few crashes. I hope that's only due to old diskettes. We'll see...
