For example the MMU Lib or 68060 Lib you not want to run on your Apollo 68080 CPU.

MMU Tools, lib or the CPU.libs are not a part of 3.1.4.

I did some more testing.
Changed the Ide cable, cf adapters, nothing helped.

I provided another Vampire user my System Image, which worked in his A1200.
So software issues can be excluded.

I also tested the memory which looked ok.

I will have look for a better PSU, that´s the last thing which sounds reasonable for me.

Do you mean Amike?

I understood Amike, that your install did crash for him until he removed one tool. Did I not understand this right?

Andre, what happens if you disconnect ALL IDE device.
No CF, no CDROM

And then boot 3.1 WB from Floppy?

Does the WB run stable?

Which PSU is suggested?
I am currently have anew PSU with 4 Ampere on 5V,
only running the A1200, cf card and the Vampire.
This is not sufficient?
I cannot believe it.

That was ClickToFront,  but not the errors I am getting at startup
(see all the screenshots posted).
Booting  from floppy is not the problem.
My image runs perfectly at Amike but it crashs at my A1200.
So the software is NOT the problem.

Using this image with A1200, cf card and Campire should be stable
(at least it at amike but not at me).

I already change cf card, ide cable.
Tested with plain A1200, cf and Vamipre.
I cannot believe that a 4 ampere PSU is not sufficient.

Have you tried swapping V1200 and PSU with your friend

Make sure the motherboard is recapped and in great condition. I had a board that was needing recapped soon, and it worked great with an ACA1233n, but when i hooked an Apollo 1260 up to do, it died in a heap. The Vampire could stress your system components, as it does push the Amiga more.

Alot of people would recommend Coffin, i wouldn't

Sure it has plenty on there, and it's pretty comprehensive, but TBH, it's geared up for SAGA users more than anything, you can boot into RGB with it to, but you get a sea of error messages, and it looks very ugly.

Less is more. I use WBClassic, with a few bells and whistles, and while my V1200 has crashed out of a many WHDLoad games with errors, it's never died. Ever. With the V1200 installed, it's never failed to boot. As for heat? well, the team say you can run the A1200 with the V12 in it, and the trapdoor closed, so maybe not heat.

smell the motherboard, near the top at the ports, does it smell of rotten fish? play a MOD on a tracker, is there a sound rustling of leaves in the background?

The V1200 as a piece of hardware, is pretty stable. Alot of the erros, are just things to be ironed out, with firmware updates.

what version of the core are you running?

Well,
the Mainboard is recapped.
Aca and Blizzard 1260 worked fine.

I tried a lot of things, different Filesystems and settings,
different IDE cables, different Cf cards and Cf adapters.

At some time, the Vampire fails to boot.
Putting in the Aca and everything is fine again.
Temprature should not be the problem, because the A1200 is still open,
and errors occurre also directly after cold start.

Have you cooked your own ROM?
OS 3.1.4 is not exactly Vamp friendly.

Use Remus and follow this guide

Update:

The problem was found. There was NO problem with the Vampire at all.
The user re-tested the Vampire and it runs fine and stable.

As far as I understand the problem was just "user-error" which can happen to anyone. And came in combination of using OS 3.1.4 on bigger then 4GB CF.
