Wow, I did not know this. We can already attach v1200 to cd32? Thats great news! Good times aheead :-) Is there a video of this combo running Q2?
Yes, there is videos of CD32+V1200 on Youtube.
Ahh, Edu Arana of course.. That adapter looks really compact so it all fits inside the cd32. Sweet!

Yes, it's possible to plug V500 to CDTV and use is as A500 or plug V1200 to CD32 and use it as A1200. What they both have in common at the moment is that the their CD-drives cannot be used. cdtv.device or cd.device does not work either with the CD-drive which is connected to the Vampire's IDE-header.

Is this down to the extended ROM not appearing in the the CDTV/CD32 memory map when the Vampire is installed or some other incompatibility issue? If it's the mapping of the ROM is that an easy fix in the core is it more complex?

Adding AKIKO to V2-1200 might help run a few CD32 games.

How about this analogy:
Humans have evolved to have wheels instead of legs (CPU's have become faster), but you still insist on riding a bicycle (Akiko).
I understand Akiko support from the POV of compatibility though. How does the Akiko implementation differ from AMMX/C2P?
