Morning fellow Vamps, I have a query to see if anyone else is having the same issue as me. I have an Amiga 500 (Rev 6a) with a lovely Apollo Vampire v2+ (running 2.11 core) installed. I've just purchased and installed an internal USB Keyboard adapter from 'electronica4u' [see weblink at the end of post] , this sits on top of the (U7) CIA chip 8250-A (with the CIA Chip sitting on top of this board) - allowing you to install a USB dongle for a use with a wireless keyboard. Now all connected devices work when powering up - the original Amiga keyboard, PC wireless keyboard (Logitech K360) and a Amiga mouse (in the serial port), all work fine. The issue I am having (which I wasn't even aware was there), is then when I power up with this new adapter installed I am greeted with a black and white screen saying 'EmuTOS' which I cannot do anything with - this then boots into an ATARI-ST desktop where I can move the mouse around etc. and then using either the Amiga KB or the wireless KB I can soft-reset, which takes me back to the 'EmuTOS' boot screen.... I am fairly stumped as to why this is happening, and to how I can avoid this screen booting up? I have read on the forum, that if you hold down the left mouse bottom on power-up (without this new adapter installed), this 'EmuTOS' is a feature and will boot up...but I am not holding any button or key-press down. I've also remove the wireless keyboard dongle and Amiga mouse to see if it's conflicting and still get the same response. So I am seeing if anyone else has purchased this mod and has had a similar issue or work-around...or any advice would be greatly appreciated. Best wishes Chris.
