Well "cat's out of the bag", eh?

I'm not sure that the response was quite that definitive - they could both come out at the same time.

Only last week we heard that the standalone hardware was finished, implying that the V1200 was in development.

Lots on the way...

We have also found a manufacturer to produce the a1200 connectors we need for the a1200 vampire and phoenix board so it looks like we are all set for production once board design is completed

How did this end? Did you get the connectors?

It would be nice to see some sort of survey or sign-up process for expressing interest in the V1200 and standalone.

It would, I've got an A1200, a new black case from the Kickstarter and keys coming, all ready for the Vampire A1200

I don't think so, I'm just eager to put my money down for one :)

It's a good market for these hardware developers with so many of us eager purchasers ready to put the money on the table!

I bought a Vampire 500, but I have more money to spend on a Vampire 1200 and a beautiful standalone board. Keep 'em coming! I like new things! :-)

My subject was to people who like to sell stuff which not even exist yet.

The team keeps their info pretty close to their chests until it's ready to reveal.
In the meantime, half this forum consists of fanboy-rants and wet dreams. My 2 cents; Filter out the white noise and lurk the forums until actual facts are posted by the Apollo team.

I dunno... the speculation is a big part of the fun.

Yes! I absolutely agree that speculation is rather entertaining while waiting for real information. Sometimes we learn something from the experiences of others, and once in a while we may give some useful insight for design changes. If nothing else the design team gets a good idea of what our needs are as end users and future developers ourselves in many cases.

  My 5 cents worth...

I don't think that comment is warranted whatsoever for A-EON.

Hyperion perhaps.
