Can I use the Indi ECS with the Vamp 2 or is there a conflict?

Just wondering as I cant use most of my programs or any of WHDload on RTG.

Thanks.

Basically atm you can use it as PAL output, but you can not use it ie ADoom Indivision GFX mode, because of the register overlap.

So all WHDload stuff is fine. Will i need the ECS indi drivers?

UPdate: I cant flash the IndiECS. I imagine thats because i have the Vamp installed?

If your WHDLoad sfuff will run on WinUAE with EC040(no fpu)/JIT/128Mb Z3 fast/"do not wait blitter" -enabled settings - I think that they should work on Vampire too. Please report to us if it is not related to too fast cpu or missing 060 support slave.

ECS indi does not need any drivers to display PAL mode.

My Indy ECS used to work with previous cores in PAL mode but now the output seems to be switched off most of the time when I try to run some WHDLoad stuff. Not sure what happens. If I reset, I can see the early boot menu through the Indivision so it is installed correctly and working.

Can you give an exact core ver and whdload link to the last working one.

I think it worked in Silver9 core, although I am not sure until I revert back and try them out again. Could try that this weekend. Could it be related to SAGASleep which I added recently to my WHDLoad scripts?

It is not isolated to WHDLoad however but to anything that runs in PAL, for example SysInfo, but perhaps only after having run SAGASleep.

I know the info is a little vague, but it is all I have atm until I get some time to do more tests.

I encountered the same problem. The Indivision is giving no image at all (no sync error from monitor) or it shows a black screen. The music/sound from the game is playing and it is reacting on inputs from me. So I think it is running in the background.

This behaviour started with core silver 9 on some games and with core gold it is showing in many more games, that were still running under silver 9.

Silver 7 seems to be the last core that is not showing this manner.

I did some testing this evening.

WHDLoad is version 18 from the official website.
