Was VERY surprised how quickly it arrived. Frankly it got from Germany to the UK faster than most things get from UK to UK !

| I assume Apollo Teams AROS decision came after your order was processed. Gunnars post regarding AROS is quite recent.

| the option to buy or add the Aros cf card doesn't appear on their website... is this card available for purchase and where... ???? Is the Aros cf card a cf card with Aros content or is it just a regular cf card and the end-user has to add their own Amiga software to it...(no complaints, just trying to see what else I need)..

| I think if the CF card with AROS on it is only available if ordered direct from Apollo then that should probably be made a bit clearer. It will stop us all from asking for it :)

| This is relative easy to explain.. The Apollo-Team believes that continues work and development into AMIGA is sensible and should be done. The Apollo-Team sees AROS as the most safe, legal and most promising option for continuing the AMIGA development. The Apollo-Team think that a new AMIGA like V4 should ideally come "key-ready" with working Mouse, keyboard, and OS pre-installed. The WB should be pre-configured to "just work" including tools like Webbrowser, mp3 player and video players. Our announced list/ retail price (including a margin for resellers) of the V4 standalone with metal-case and PSU is 549,- Euro. While the goal to make a new AMIGA with is ready to use with Webbrowser etc is understandable. The AROS CF Workbench content with all this installed and nicely configured and working like a greased lightning is the goal. But we still work on the content. We today ship the system with a pre-version of this AROS CF - which works but has some room for more improvement. When the sales of the V4 started, this was maybe a little hectic. And not all reseller could implement such complete bundles in the short time. Therefore some systems were offered "naked" which was not the original plan. And after some users complained to us that systems are sold over list price we started to also offer the V4 systems on our website directly at the list price, to help control this. We think that a naked system is not the best solution for the users and decided to only offer complete systems with CF included now. Therefore our offer includes the price of the CF now.

Very good Gunnar. Does this mean that your system also comes with a mouse and keyboard?
