If it can be connected through an ide interface it should be possible. I'm sure there are a few ide to sata interfaces available.
If you mean micro sd, then not at the moment but they are working on it.

Hmmm… I wonder….
Do these Adapters sometimes trigger the TRIM of SSD's?
If not, this would cause huge problems as the SSD's would just get full over time as AmigaOS, as far as I know, has no support to start TRIM.
For those who do not know but want to know what I am talking about:

isnt TRIM handled by the SSD firmware these days?

Modern SSDs have trim, used one with OS4, no huge problems.

"Trim" is a command send by the Operating/System, Driver, or Bios or Firmware

The Adapter is just a piece of "wire" it will by itself never send any extra commands.

So.... Does the Vampire support this feature? Maybe in the future as optional setting?
Or has anyone written an program which can be used in the background?

Likely not.

Trim is more a concern for systems that do a lot of writing small files (looking at you Linux where EVERYTHING is a file operation...). Since AmigaOS doesn’t have virtual memory that won’t be writing a lot, and unless you are churning out a ton of writes through other operations I doubt you’ll have any issues with the wear on cells. If you are using a CF or Sd card (vs a drive form factor SSD) I doubt you will need to worry about it.

But not every file in Linux is on a disk.  e.g. /proc

A common misconception is that Virtual Memory == Swap File.  Two different but related concepts.  It is a swap file/partition which is written to the disk.  Virtual memory is not disk related.  You can see this yourself in windows/linux when adjusting swap settings.  You can disable the swap in Linux and Windows but the memory address space will always be virtualised.  There is no turning that off..............well not short of compiling your own kernel.

The Amiga often uses ram disk for scratch space and this is, well, in ram.  The disk isn't really written too so often, at least not by the OS itself.  I am not really sure that the lack of TRIM will be noticed on the Amiga that much if at all.

I would use an SSD without hesitation.
