Vampire 600 V2, OS 3.1.4. and Chip Ram Expansion

Hi all,

I'm looking for someone who may have the following setup:

  - Amiga 600 with V600 V2 installed with GOLD 2 core (possibly 2.11)
  - Amiga OS 3.1.4 with KS 3.1.4 flashed into the Vampire's Kickstart
  - An extra 1 MB chip ram connected to expansion slot

I just wanted to know if your A600 detects the 1MB of extra chip ram.
I want to get the extra chip ram for a couple of reasons and would like to know if it will work fine.

The concern I have is that the Apollo Wiki recommends purchasing and using the A1200 version of OS 3.1.4, which I already have, and I'm wondering if that will properly utilize the Amiga 600's expansion port. Does anyone know if this is the case?
