| Hello all, I was wondering is any part of vampire open source? I am specifically looking for information about the expansion port and the v2expeth. Is the team planning to write a freemint driver like they did the SAGA driver? This is very cool but I bought it for atari stuff primarily ;)

| LOL immediately after I posted this I found the SDNet distribution with source. So that answers that question. But still any plans to write a driver?

Thanks for the FreeMINT driver support. Making all Vamps hardware supported is very kind to Atari side of the force :)

I assume you are cheekily saying that releasing the source code means we're on our own ;)

I have to admit that I already tried to port some older version of SDNet driver to Mint. ...but initializing of ethernet-hardware did not work at all. I haven't had time to check is the problem in my changes, was core version too new or does required vampire.resource make some magic to SPI or something else.

If you mean Freemint sdnet test? EXTERNAL LINK Only tries use SD-card SPI, not EXT one and without interrupts. Freemint commit patch should apply for sure is a4c2932f3ca7646a16d819af66303ae19e33aab1. Might also work with head, but I haven't check. Work was quick and dirty. Converted some asm to c, I had some troubles compile original asm files. I do not really remember what version SDNet source I took as base. I spend only two evenings with this. And as said before this get stuck in init. Using interrupts should also be possible, but might cause some side effects. I did not find the link now.

| We have an Apollo-atari chat, if you like you could join... there are some atarians who also can help.

If chat is IRC then yes certainly. If that is some other then probably answer is no. I do not do social media.
