Vampire V3?

Was there ever one?
The only thing I could find was a mention on majsta.com of a Vampire 600 V3 code named V666 prototype, that was never meant for production...
Bit weird for the Apollo team to skip a major version number like that, v2 to v4?

Seems more like Majstas house experiments to adopt V2 core
to larger Cyclone used in V4 and ass some technical ffixes, similar to his V600 2+ revisions.

If you desire one, its best to contact Majsta. Its unlikely it will go serial production and shop availability. So it was, and it wasnt.

If the next one is called v8 it will all make sense ;-)

The card sold as "V2" is inside the team referred to as "V3" because before the V2 there was a pretty much identical card that had only 64 MB of RAM and half the bus width as the card now publically sold as V2. However, majsta recently made some prototype card he calls the V-III using Roman numbers. It has a similar hardware configuration as the V4 which wasn't designed by majsta but by ceaich.
