| Please read the manual carefully. Consider when Vamp/Amiga should be turned on and when not. EXTERNAL LINK This should be the summary. If you follow ALL steps including proper software, there is no reason to fail. Power OFF your Amiga before connecting the USB-Blaster device. Connect the USB-Blaster to the Vampire JTAG header using the JTAG cable. Connect the USB-Blaster to the PC using the Mini-USB to USB cable. The 'POWER' LED on the USB-Blaster should be 'Red'. Open Quartus II Programmer. Click the 'Hardware Setup' button. Select the USB-Blaster item in hardware device list. Click 'Add file' and select a .JIC file to flash on the Vampire board. NEVER USE a .JIC file that is not dedicated to your hardware. It might DESTROY your FPGA. Check the 'Program/Configure' and 'Verify' options. See picture below. FYI, by selecting Erase checkbox, Vampire FPGA will emptied. So that the Amiga will boot on built-in CPU (V600). Power ON your Amiga Click 'Start' button. Your Amiga will freeze or reboot on built-in CPU during this process. Wait until flashing is finished, '100% (Successful)'. It takes about 1 or 2 minutes. Power OFF your Amiga and wait at least 10 seconds. Finally, Power ON your Amiga.
