| The test went ok, with "pause on error" and "beep on error" set. No pauses, no beeps, so no errors I guess.

| for the price of a USB blaster, i'd do a reflash with that before sending your precious vampire anywhere. i managed both a weird flash update and a broken ApolloOS image in my time. at the cost of a couple of beers, it can't hurt to be sure. hope you get to the bottom of it and fixed soon.

You are right. I'm waiting for the Blaster already, as well as for the mounting screws. I will test it when I have all of that, and see what comes up.
