Thank you for your support Sevo,

Sadly no, it's not as simple as that.

You see, all material has been ordered for the keycaps production.
Ordering more plastic pellets in our specific colors would delay keycaps production for at least 3 extra months.

You surely understand we can't afford that.

Most of the time, consumers don't really see all aspects of industrial production.
Plastic industry is quite complicated for everything.

Since we need to run another campaign for Amiga keycaps (+60 days), then update production roster and material needed (+90 days), we'd see production for keycaps delay by another 150 days.

No sure everybody would agree with that :)

Thank you again Sevo.

New A1200 Cases have been produced for Amigastore already.
  They're on their way now.

I wander how much time it will take them to reach the store - they are still not available.

Oy Phil!
I've mentioned earlier that a miniITX adapterboard for Vampire Standalone with breakouts to ATX backplane and an SFX/ATX adapter would be awesome. Any Vamp standalone-user would be able to choose whichever case they see fit (be it maxitowers, cubes, desktop, set-top or fanless boxes).

Do you think such a package would be a viable kickstarter for your crew?

Hi Guys,

The campaign is now @105K$

We need your support, more Amigans willing to make this happen.

The word needs to be spread far and wide via any appropriate forums, social media, retro blogs/vlogs etc to reach the A500 owners that aren't regularly active on the main Amiga news sites (especially as Amiga.org is down currently).

Hi Guys,

The New Amiga 500 Case campaign is now at 85%, and we still have 3 days to make it!

The team would love to see all Amigans still on the fence, committing now and helping this campaign to reach it's goal!

More than 600+ Backers have supported the campaign already, and they need your help to get their cases.

Thank you again for your support guys, let's make this happen!

OK, bought another one, even though I don't need it.
How is the additional costs for postage processed on Indiegogo? Do I get it back?

From the FAQ

How to pledge on Multiple Rewards?
Simply pledge on the first reward you want. Always start from Early Bird or SE if you want one.
Then SEND US a message by clicking on "Ask a question" link, just below PROJECT OWNER.

They then send you a private link to pledge for the additional item without additional shipping fees.

Why did so many people wait to the last moments to support it? Does that happen with a lot of campaigns?

I can think of two reasons:

1. Some people, despite really wanting just 1 case, prefer to pledge for 2 cases than to get money back and receive no case at all. With A1200 cases campaign, I was prepared to do the same...

2. There were some group pledges here and there - 90% of people pledging via these groups sent the money earlier to the person organizing it, who sent the money to Indiegogo the last days.

Its  agreat success and thank you for new cases and tank mouses.
For Vamp V500 users and standalone users, as well as all A500 users, it is a blessing.

How long will pledges remain open?
