Just for information and for future improvements. It seems the installer seems to just override picasso96settings and vampiregfx.info and other files. Now, I had changed those files to fit my system and after using the installer my changes were gone. I think that the installer should detect if the files were changes and either merge the changes , in case new settings were introduced (vampiregfx.info), or leave the file untouched altogether (picasso96settings).

I think it just overwrites it at the moment. Maybe they should add a prompt for people to backup before updating drivers.

Yeah, it just overwrites. That's why I'm mentioning it. The convenient way for the developers is to just say: backup you stuff before installing this. The convenient way for the user is: detect changes and merge where necessary.

Right. That's one thing. Another thing are the vampiregfx.info settings.
You’re using an Amiga. Always make sure to backup files that contain settings that you’ve done before installing or tampering with stuff. It’s really essential that you back stuff up if you intend to keep it
