I don't remember where I read it, but it was mentioned somewhere there will be a USB module for expansion port on V500. So far I saw wifi module, but no USB one. Can anybody confirm USB is planned or I can forget it and wait Vampire 4 instead?

No official plan about modules for V500?

Don’t you just love it when you don’t get an answer on a relevant question?
I wonder if that has ever happened in here before (:

Are you serious?

They are working like devils to develop the core, and we expect them to develop all the addons/expansions too?
Its fair to ask if they have anything planned; im sure they can dream up alot of things.
But having expansion port gives third parties an option to develop hardware IF they feel like it.

Again, asking IF there are plans is fine. Expecting .. Seems a bit rich.

I don't recall seeing any mention of a USB module for the V500 V2(+) expansion port. I may have missed it though or it could have been a throw away comment. I've not seen any documentation for the port either that I recall, is it even active in current cores? It's interesting that the connector seems to have not only been retained but triplicated on the V4 though. I do recall the V4 being described as having GPIO.

It would be nice if Majista would release Port specification, Pin order, permited Amps and how to access port pins in assembly level. (address of DX- and DT signals...)

The Vampire V2 has two SPI ports. One is the SD-slot, which has two drivers so far, one for the SD-card and one for Ethernet.

The Ethernet driver could probably be sorted for the other SPI port as well.

If there are SPI modules for USB, it should be possible to make drivers for such a module, but this is not planned by the team, afaik.

Yeah I do see a few SPI solutions on a quick google search, likely being able to interface would be take some development work. The only mature USB stack on Amiga OS 3.X is the poseidon USB stack, which would likely require some collaberation with the people that develop that for our solution to be implemented. Perhaps figure out what Individual uses for their RapidRoad...
