First of all (since this is my first post here) I'd like to spend some words congratulating you all on your accomplishments. Your work on serious performance improvements to 68k computers has actually made me get an A500 again, which is currently in progress to be restored and readied for a Vampire card.

I was following the progress of Apollo Core and Vampire for a while and one question was left unanswered for me:

What about user-accessible GPIO pins (and their documentation) on the Vampire cards?

I can imagine a lot of good stuff to be done with such expansion headers, given the traction of the Arduino ecosystem (and Raspberry PI etc.). A number of cool homebrew projects are using the parallel port but when it comes to fast I/O, the 8520 is severely limited.
